Description

As a Chicago-based nonprofit with a long history of giving back, Westarity's mission is to help others in need, both in our community and around the world. One of the international charities that we support, Fondation Enfant Jesus (FEJ) located in Lamardelle, Haiti, is in need of your help and donations.

FEJ offers individuals in their community opportunities for education, improved health and self-sustaining employment. At their primary school (K-8) and crèche for orphaned children, there is no public funding. Children attending the school or orphanage (more than 600 in total) can only do so by way of private donations. Programs offered by FEJ also provide the community nutritional and healthcare services, vocational training and agricultural development, literacy and clean water initiatives, among others. These children are the future of Haiti… and Westarity is one of just a few US based 501(c)(3) organizations helping to provide what is necessary so that these children can be fed every day, educated, and kept free of disease. We are helping to make change – one child at a time.

On February 20th, 2016, Westarity will be hosting a “Mixologie" event to benefit FEJ. The event is expected to draw 175 people and will feature an interactive mixology experience in addition to a silent auction. 100% of the proceeds earned from this event will go to FEJ to care for children in Haiti!

There are two types of tickets:

GENERAL ADMISSION ($100):
- Open bar
- Hors d'oeuvres
- Live music

VIP ($150):
- All items included in General Admission
- Specialty cocktail
- 7:00 early admission meet and greet with mixologists
